Gallery: Nature Sees

Nature Sees is a collection that called itself into being. It was inspired from my experiences of living in the lush jungle areas of Costa Rica, Peru, and Ecuador. Nature was ever-watching––benevolently, protectively, mysteriously, playfully, creatively. The art process began when I was drawn to certain plants. I took photographs, then manipulated and digitally painted art images to give her voice. They are printed onto canvas with archival ink. The art is scalable: as a large horizontal 18 x 48”, or smaller as 9 x 24.”
